I started in the early 80s but before that i had it in my heart ever since I was just a kid. a kid that grew up with music and movies with my mom who was also very talented, she can draw anything with amazing detail. as a kid I wanted a record player so my mom bought me a cassette deck because she could not afford a record player. she told me she would get me music for it. then I got a break when my school friend gave me his record player, so now I had a record player and a cassette deck and I started creating pause mix tapes that sounded like I had 4 turntables. people loved my mixes. then I found a friend that was also a DJ and we become a team. we were called the turntable wizards. We became the best in San Jose in the early 80s. I use to go to car shows and perform my DJ tricks and I would also enter into DJ battles and I never lost. then I was banned from all DJ battles because they wanted me to give other DJs a chance to win. I always look for creative ways to mix music. TDC
